Conflicts in civilians bases resulted high number of casualties One of the ambulances serving at Bakara environs have been targeted with artillery causing the injury of one staff on board and demolition faced some parts of the car.
Somalia continues to experience highest levels of insecurity for more than 18 years of civil unrest as one of the dynamic factors fostering the crisis. The humanitarian situation deteriorates as the casualties have increased in the past six months. Attacks on foreign troops in Mogadishu by insurgent groups result consequent bombardment by these forces on the residential areas in revenge of the insurgents hit and run attacks.
Recently the TFG and ARS (Alliance for re-liberation of Somalia) have signed an agreement to stop hostility. However the implementation of the agreement remains tough as political crisis are imminent in both TFG and ARS.
Efforts to stop the persistent conflicts are underway. But the impact is far reaching consequence on the civilian populations. Women and children are facing one of the worst humanitarian crisis in the last 18 years of conflict.
Life Line Africa supports victims of conflict with on time first aid services and takes them to hospital for further treatment. Life Line Africa groomed six ambulances working 24/7.
